You can use the notice manager plugin to add a note to customer's login page and in the header. This is particularly useful when you want to inform your customers about 'site maintenance', 'downtime' or 'known network issues'. This help desk plugin is free and requires Helpdesk Pilot 2.5.0 pre-installed.
Install instructions:
1. Download the noticemanager plugin.
2. Extract the zip file and move the notice manager folder to your
/helpdesk/plugins directory.
3. Logon to your helpdesk and go to your Manage -> Plugins folder.
4. Install the notice manager plugin and set your notice message
